OP-Z Case is Here

What is it?

The OP-Z is a wonderful little machine, but it's also fragile, and those tiny buttons and the low profile don't always make for confident live performance. Our case tries to make it better:

• Moves side buttons to the top so playing it feels a lot more deliberate. 
• Lifts it a couple of millimetres from the desk so the pitch bend control is easier to push.
• Adds small side-rails on the inside edges. A bent OP-Z sags comfortably inside without rocking as you play, and its round yellow feet dangle into recessed holes so that enthusiastically pressing buttons on the far left or far right doesn't pivot the unit off its feet and launch it across the table.
• And like our SEQTRAK case, it gives you a spot for your phone (it's perfect for Condukt). This dock is removable so the case can be smaller when you don't need it.

And did we mention it doubles as a travel case? Just flip it around and the fragile yellow volume knob fits right into a protective slot that (a) prevents it from popping off / snapping off, and (b) keeps the unit turned off when in your bag. You can even use the removable dock or a simple rubber band to secure the opposite side into place.

This is a proper 3D print, the kind we like: multiple print plates, careful tolerances, and a fit that took a few rounds to get right (you don't want to know how many). That's partly why it took a little longer than our SEQTRAK case. Which, if you have SEQTRAK, is also worth checking out.

And Condukt makes it all better: just plug in and control ALL your tracks over MIDI, a great way to build evolving sequences or just add on-screen controls for inactive tracks.
